Concise and clear, with specific recommendations that work The author's description of her son's predicament in the first chapter almost exactly matched my experience -- so if that's not true for you, hard to say if this is the right book, and I recommend reading the first chapter carefully before deciding whether to proceed. But for us, gave us the confidence to intervene and made us feel less helpless. After a rough 9 months (especially the last 3) during which nothing seemed to help, this book was the primary advice we relied on and we had a near-180 over the course of a month.
